This is the one Ohio Child Support Guideline Worksheet
Software that was developed by an attorney for use
by attorneys and the courts in Ohio. This is the
program that is used on the bench as
the authoritative Child Support Worksheet program
by many Domestic Relations Courts and Juvenile
Courts around Ohio. It is also
used by numerous child support enforcement
agencies throughout the state of Ohio. This
program is current (July 27, 2008)with all Ohio
statutory provisions and applicable Federal Tax law provisions.
It includes all recent changes required
by Ohio HB 119 (the cash-medical provisions) and
the Federal Regulations promulgated at 45
CFR 302-305 & 308. the program is updated whenever federal or
state statutory changes modify the effect of the
law.
Supportworks© is a Windows
compatible program which calculates child support
obligations pursuant to the Ohio Child Support
Guidelines. This program automatically computes sole custody worksheets or
split custody worksheets based upon
the number of children residing with each
parent and allows you to print
out your choice of a one-page summary
sheet, the statute-mandated worksheet (or both). The program
allows you to set a default entry of the jurisdiction, the
judge and the preparer, so
that they are wutomatically entered for you on
each subsequent worksheet. It also automatically calculates child-care
tax credits (Federal and State),
factors the children's portion of health
care expenses and allows input of most
values as a yearly, monthly, semi-monthly, biweekly, or weekly
amounts without the necessity of a
separate calculator. The program accurately calculates
the support obligation and provides a breakdown of
the obligation as an annual, monthly or weekly
amount.
Deviations to the child support calculations
may be readily inserted along with a brief
explanation of the deviation, where appropriate.
Also, several approaches are provided for shared
custody cases based upon the amount of time spent
in each household, and the print-out provides both
the calculations as well as an explanation of the
approach used.
