This will download the Supportworks version 5.6
update package to your system. NOTE. This update will only
update existing installations of Supportworks Version 5.5. It
will not update a prior version. It will not run on a system
that has not previously had the Supportworks program license
properly registered. You will be able to access the program
for a 60-day trial use of the program after installation of
the update. If you need a CD for a new installation of the
complete program please request a CD by visiting the online disk
request form or by faxing in the printable
request form from this web site.
This update is packaged as a self-unpacking
program. Click on "Save to disk" to save the file to your
system. Minimize or close out of your browser and click on "My
Computer"; locate the file you just saved:
"sw56upd1.exe". Run this program. The program
will automatically suggest installation of the files in the
"C:\sw2001" folder. You may change this if necessary, however,
this setting will be correct for most systems. The routine
will deploy the update files, replacing the out-of-date files
with the corrected files. If you are running the program as a
network application, after deploying the update files, copy
the " *.rpt" and " *.jpg" files to the Supportworks
shared file location. The new files will all be
dated: "03/01/03 @ 1:00 am".
